Yesterday started out well. I got up at a decent time. I got myself all ready for the day. I did a 2 week meal plan and made a grocery list. Then I headed out to run my errands. I hit Winco and was in and out faster than I have been in a long time. Next was a quick stop at WalMart to pick up a new water filter. Then I filled up the gas tank and dropped our old TV off at Goodwill. I popped into Safeway and grabbed soda for the next two weeks. Then I headed back to town.
Partway there, I started coughing and it quickly became apparent that I have caught the dreaded sickness that has been going around my house! I stopped at the dollar store in town to pick up a couple more things, and then I headed home. I was not feeling super good by this time, but I had to go back out shortly to pick up medications.
Once that was all done, I stayed home and watched TV for the remainder of the day. Ari and I did get caught up on a lot of the shows that we had DVRed!
Later that evening, my mom came by with some leftovers for us. There had been a small, impromptu family get together that I had been planning to go to until I got sick. She also told me that my Opa and Oma had come over. Opa had wanted to give me something...which turned out to be a very large check! We aren't going to have to borrow money from my parents now in order to move! Yay!
