Good-bye 2017

The ending of 2017 wasn't as neat as I had been planning for, but that's okay. I have a couple of days until the end of my vacation.

Today, Ariana and I went to Tukwila to get a new stereo and back-up camera installed in the minivan. While we were waiting for the installation to be done, we walked over to the mall and watched Star Wars: The Last Jedi. It was an okay movie, but it felt like it dragged on for much longer than it ought to have done.

After that, we went home and I watched movies with the kids. We watched Yours, Mine, and Ours. I wanted to watch the Lucille Ball version, but we only had access to the Nick Nolte version. Then we watched Labyrinth and The Princess Bride. By that time, we had about 20 minutes left before midnight. I poured the sparkling apple cider, and Ariana, the three younger kids, and I counted down to the new year!

To Do List: Remainder of 2017 (revised)

1. Have the house clean at midnight on the 31st.
2. Clean Siera's bedroom.
3. Clean Tiana's bedroom.
4. Get organization stuff for Tiana's bedroom.
5. Make a reservation for Tiana's birthday trip (hotel in Kennewick).
6. Determine which library books I'm truly interested in reading and return the rest of them.
7. Visit The Sequel and see if they have Gini Koch books (particularly her Kitty Katt series) that I can by. (This will have to be done Monday due to their store hours.)
8. Take Siera out for coffee.
9. Set up a coffee rota.
10. Take Siera to get her hair cut.
11. Make sure I have the money set aside to join the gym downtown.
