Saturday was fun. We drove down to Portland with Tiana (stopping in Centralia for breakfast). We found parking pretty easily, and then walked a short two blocks to the Oregon Convention Center. Unfortunately, despite having pre-purchased tickets, we still had to wait for 2 1/2 hours in the line to actually get into the convention. Once inside, there was another line to redeem the pre-purchased photo op we had gotten for Tiana's birthday present!
Overall, the experience was not one of the best ones. However, Tiana did really enjoy her photo op and was super excited to have gotten to meet both Stephen Amell and Emily Bett Rickards.
After the convention, we drove to Kennewick. We ate dinner at Texas Roadhouse (super yummy)! Then we went to the hotel and crashed.
In the morning, the other two slept in (I got in a short workout and soaked in the bathtub)! Then we drove back home. When we arrived, we found that the furnace had stopped working. Hopefully, the property management company can get someone out here to fix it early tomorrow morning!
