“She would be half a planet away, floating in a turquoise sea, dancing by moonlight to flamenco guitar.” Janet Fitch (White Oleander)
I love the imagery that this quote generates. I picture a slender, young mermaid, undulating in the waves that wash up on the white sand beach, as a young man stands barefoot in the sand playing flamenco on his old, battered guitar.
I need to figure out what my goals for 2018 are, and how I can break those down into smaller goals to help me focus and reach them. I also want to get the house thoroughly cleaned from top to bottom before the new year begins. I feel like starting 2018 off with a sparkling clean house will be an excellent way to get things going.
I am going to create a Page here on this blog that is specifically for 2018 goals. Of course, this is only for personal goals. Since I work at a school, it's easier (and more logical) for work goals to be set based on the school year instead of the calendar year.
Next, I am going to post a to do list for the remainder of this calendar year. I will post it here, but I will most likely reproduce it each day to make it simpler to follow along.
